I was looking for a reliable inexpensive steam mop and I knew that Shark is famous for its high quality cleaning products and my sister owns one of their sweepers in which she is very pleased with.

So after reading a few Shark Steam Mop reviews and being persuaded that it is a good product, I decided to send off for one. The reason I wanted a good steam mop is because all my downstairs floors are either bare wood or tiled.

So for me a steam mop seemed like the best option to keep the floors properly clean. The reviews I read confirmed that other people thought the same and had success with this product.

The Shark steam mop has some great features that I have been very pleased with. It has a lightweight design which makes it easy to manipulate while cleaning. The mop is designed to clean and sanitize all sealed wooden floors perfect, in other words, for my needs.

I had read in other shark steam mop reviews that the claims made by Shark that it is ready to use in thirty seconds, are true and I can verify that in this case. I have found the mop to be very easy to use once you get used to its action. The steam is released as you push it forwards and it leaves floors dry almost immediately. I am extremely impressed with this feature.

The triple layer construction of the mop head works really well to loosen and lift dirt from the floor. Another feature I love that I wasn’t expecting after reading other  shark steam mop reviews  is the mop excellent ergonomic soft-grip handle.

I can honestly say that the steam mop system definitely provide an excellent and easy clean. To be honest I have always found using a traditional mop a bit messy and difficult. Sometimes I feel that I am just moving the dirt around and not cleaning it up at all.

With this suggested in another shark steam mop review that the carrying of heavy buckets, wringing out mop heads and rinsing are nonexistent. The Shark Steam Mop cleaning system effectively does all of this for you.

When I clean with this mop I really am cleaning. It does not leave streaks of dirt on the floor like I always seemed to do before. I also love that it leaves the floor dry as it goes.

Another problem I always have with a traditional mop and bucket is leaving the floor wet. It always seemed to look clean at first and then dried out to look as dirty as it was before I started. Now, with my clean wooden floors, I have joined the ranks of the other happy people who had purchase a Shark Steam Mop.

For me, the fact that this steam mop is chemical free is a huge bonus. I have to say that I agree with the other Shark Steam Mop reviews that think this is an important aspect. Whether this green aspect is important to you or not, the fact remains that the finished floor looks and feel extremely clean. If you have children or pets the chemical free aspect is a great feature alongside the quick drying.

A minor fault for me is that the mop only holds enough water for about ten minutes cleaning time. But I think this is probably a good thing compared to all the buckets of water I had to fill up before! Having to pump the handle can get a bit annoying, but again not really a major problem, especially when you see the results.

I have said that I am not the most skilled cleaner in the world but this product has made me confident that my floors are will remain clean and safe. But like other reviews I was quite shocked at all the muck this thing managed to find. After all, although I’m not brilliant at it I had been trying my best to keep the floor clean. This mop demonstrated just how much my floors needed a good steam.

Altogether, from my point of view, this is probably the best cleaning gadget I have ever bought and I am not exaggerating.  Reading of other shark steam mop reviews did not prepare me fully for how good this was going to be. As you can tell I am very impressed with it and I am sure you will be too.
